beaTunes for Mac

As a player is is clunky, prehistoric-looking and not responsive (slow to respond to something as basic as clicking a track to play it, spinning wheel issues etc). As an organizational tool, it is scary, does not always yield correct results. All this is very sad as conceptually it could be a great app and has no true competition. Year after year I hope it gets better, but no.

There is no extremely basic info on what the menu bar items mean. I thought this was supposed to fix music info. It seems a number of songs got wrong data, artist changed, etc... well anyway, not for novice. Nowhere to find info on how to use. i guess you just have to know.

The new version (5.2.6) works great. It can eliminate 99% of existing problems. I would rather give it ******

MacUpdate says its compatible with macOS X 10.7.5 to macOS 10.13.2 - what about macOS 10.13.3??
